Porto's Bakery in Glendale is the place to visit when in SoCal. This Cuban heaven of goodies is owned and operated by Margaret (below), her sister Betty and brother Raul. Great people, yummy desserts and savories. My husband David and I visited this bakery a couple of years ago and the sisters gladly gave us a tour of their facility and were completely happy to share their business experience with us. We truly appreciated their kindness and marvel at the business they have created in honor of their mom, Rosa. We make it a point to visit when we're in the area.
